Contract termination - refund for overpaid final bill

Hi, I have ported out of Starhub last month. Prior to porting over, I have settled all amount outstanding. I've recently received a final bill via email which I unfortunately can't access as I can no longer log into my Starhub app. Noted in the email itself that the bill amount is a negative amount, which I presume is because I had paid the previous month in advance. Can anyone clarify how I'll be able to get the refund back?

Hi @Y1NG, we're sorry to hear that you've terminated your contract with us. Usually, once a customer receives the final bill and has a credit balance, you will receive the remainder of the credit after offsetting any outstanding payment due to his/her NRIC/FIN. Once the account is inactive for 2 months, StarHub will automatically refund the credit via cheque for credit balance greater than $5.

@Carla_P thanks for the clarification!

I've terminated my contract on 28 September. Can you advise when I can expect to receive the cheque? 

I would also like to view my final bill, which I can't seem to do anymore due to issues logging into myStarhub app and the lack of a postpaid contract - can you advise alternate means for me to retrieve the bill? This will also allow me to confirm the mailing address, which I believe is where Starhub will be sending the cheque to.

Dear Starhub support team,

I have exact the same situation except that i moved abroad. A cheque sent to my Singapore address will not help much. Could the balance also be transferred back to my bank account?

Hi @mrhercher, we're sorry to hear that you've terminated your service with us. Just to check, did you already receive your final bill? If you have a credit balance once your final bill has been generated, you may request to transfer the credit balance to your bank account by sending a message to our Customer Support via Facebook Messenger (Just click the link below).
