Switch from Home hub to mobile and Broad band only

I have Home Hub contract with Mobile, Broadband, TV and Voice call together.

As I seldom watch TV and never use Voice call (land line call), I want to cancel them. However, I would also like to keep current Mobile and Broadband contract.

Is this possible? Or do I need to cancel everything and re-contract Mobile and Broadband again?

Hi @yoheiy, I'm sorry to hear that you want to terminate your HomeHub service. To terminate your HomeHub service, please return the following equipment to our StarHub Main shop (Plaza Singapura, Jurong Point, Nex, and Tampines). You will only return the equipment for the TV service.

  • Cable/Fibre TV Set-Top Box
  • StarHubTV+ Box
  • Power Cord/Adapter for Set-Top Box
  • Remote Control

When you terminate your HomeHub service, please tell the agent that you will retain your broadband service. For your mobile service, you don't have to terminate it, however, it will no longer enjoy Hub Club discount.

Thank you. Can you confirm that I won't be charged for any penalty?

My HomeHub contract started (updated) in October 2018 with the Google Home Wifi promotion. The campaign has 24 months minimum contract period.

As it already passed 24 months, I can switch (terminate) HomeHub anytime I want without penalty, correct?

Yes, since you're out of contract already you won't get charged an early termination fee. Also, let me add that you should also tell the agent who will assist you that you'll terminate your digital voice as well.
