SLOW Internet Service Directly from Modem (Not a wireless issue)

I pay for a 1 Gbps. I mostly get 100Mbps and lucky to see 300Mbps. I'm directly plugged into the modem. I've already had a tech come out, suggested new wires running to rooms. This would not resolve the issue. I can't keep paying a technician to come resolve issue. Can I get out of my contract or receive what I'm paying for?

@user_aac382 Do you have a router you can use? Have you try updating your ethernet drivers or checking the settings of it?

I have tried with my Linksys router as well. Same results. I’ve also tried this across 3 computers, 2 Macs and 1 PC. Same results.

@user_aac382 How long have you been having this issue? Did you previously subscribed to a different internet service provider before?

Hi @user_aac382, I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering a slow internet connection. Unfortunately, I'm unable to help you here as this will require further technical assistance. To answer your question, if you're still in an existing contract once you terminate your service you will incur an early termination charge.
