After my contract

Recently my 2years contract finish, now facing my fibre contacction connect & reconnect issue, weekday after 7pm, weekend whole day (occur almost every  hrs), customer  service  alway ask me to wiring and On/off modem and router,  i thinks after this practice,  my router will spoil very soon. Why this happened after my contract? Is it starhub  sales strategy??
