Fixed IP addresses for some residential customers

Offer fixed IP addresses for residential customers who need it. For example, for whitelisting purposes.

I feel that it is important to be honest with your customers especially the new ones who just signed a contract and are now locked into a product that StarHub does not wish to support to the best of their ability..... 

With all due respect to this poor customer, your response is saying whatever is necessary to placate the customer without any real intention of following through with it.

StarHub does not offer this, it is not new request.  Customers have been asking for this for years and StarHub does not wish to offer it for reasons unknown to us, and unwilling too explain.  Yet other providers have no issue providing this to home users.

Below is a link i just replied to that was posted 2 years ago....  I will briefly repeat myself here.... 

It is disappointing that such a leading Telco does not consider customer requests..... 

Please, please be honest, these responses are insulting to our intelligence and suggest that your customers dont know any better so just accept it.

Hi @oldmate, we are currently not assigning static IP address for standard users. But we do provide this service under our business unit. For more information, please refer here. Moreover, we don't have any information yet if/when we will provide a static IP addresses for our standard users.
