What to do to terminate contract?

I'm trying to terminate my contract for my flat in Sg from overseas, and im wondering what I'll need to return, as well as when I should return them. Do I have to return the linksys router they gave me when I first contracted? And what about the white fibre box?

Hi @GhoulDeLox, we're sorry to hear your decision to discontinue your broadband plan. To terminate your service, please bring the following items and equipment to our StarHub main outlets located at Plaza Singapura, NEX, Jurong Point, and Tampines Mall.

 

- 1 x Optical Network Terminal
- 1 x Fibre Patch Cord
- 1 x UTP Cable
- 1 x Power Adaptor

 

As you have mentioned that you're currently overseas, you can arrange a third party to return the equipment on your behalf. Please have the person to return the equipment and bring a copy of your NRIC/IC, a signed letter of authorization, and a copy of his/her own NRIC/IC for verification. 

 

The service will be terminated accordingly once the equipment has been returned. Do note that a disconnection fee of $32.10 applies and if you're still under contract you'll incur early termination charges.

@Carla_P Is there a template for a termination letter? If so, is there an online pdf of it?

There is no fixed format for the authorization letter and sad to say, we don't have a pdf file. All it needs is to state the Subscriber and Proxy's name and NRIC/Passport/documents that are registered for the service, with the subscriber signature. Also, state the purpose that this is for the termination of fibre broadband contract.
