NOKIA Beacon 1 Cannot support VPN

Have noticed that some of your review and I very much regard that I upgrade my home boardband to use the new NOKIA Beacon 1 that does not support my company's VPN.

When I replace with my old router, my VPN works very fine.

 

Starhub should not promote this product when it does not work at all. This is very bad!

 

I'm going to ask for a refund for my Nokia Router.

I’m having the same issue. Once connect to VPN, the speed is extremely slow. Can’t use it to work from home. Regret shifting to Starhub.

Hi @Djiultimate, sorry to hear about your experience. Have you tried to reboot both your ONT and router to see if the issue persists?

I traded in my D-Link 850L and paid for the new Nokia router but it has since given me lots of issues. Even when D-Link is several years old, it works just fine but now the broadband lags a lot. And please don't tell me to reboot my ONT and router -- I've been doing that since day 1 the Nokia router came home!

 

Seriously, Starhub suggested us buying a product that jeopardizes our work (from home) so much!

 

Please provide a solution asap. I don't mind getting a D-Link router back!

i wish i had read this post before i re-contracted with starhub last week. The Beacon is a whole array of shit, and Starhub has no solution, and they refuse to refund. Technical support only tells you to reboot ONT repeatedly. I hope IMDA/CASE will do something...

Hi. I am having the same issue. I have just Recontracted to StarHub and the Nokia Beacon 1 is unable to support my company VPN!!!!! I was using google home before my switch which was perfectly fine. Please help urgently.

ARGH!! Nokia and Pulse Connect VPN doesn't work at all. As the above comments, when using Beacon 1, vpn doesn't work even it is shows connected. No traffic flows. But once dc from vpn, internet comes back. Contact Starhub support, it tells me to restart my ONT, Beacon.. den conclude is VPN... den contact Pulse support push blame to Beacon.. Contact Beacon push it to Pulse.. Endless pushing around... 

Starhub should just have a list of VPN it doesn't work and let people like us who needs to VPN to chose whether to sign up a not coz end of the day now we need to WFH. End up I have two routers in the house... One D-link and LOTS of Beacon...

HI, any solutions to this VPN issue? Changing hardware is a option, but very last option. Hope someone can assist on this. Thanks in advance.
